Selamat Ulang Tahun Indonesiaku

It's going to be 17th of August again soon. Indonesia will be 64 years old. And still in the worst condition possible. Worse than before the reformation.

Do I love my country? Of course I do. Do I pray for my country? Of course I do. Do I care for my country? I do. But ask me this question: Do my country care, pray and love me in return? I don't believe so.

They say: "Don't ask what your country can give to you, but ask yourself, what you can do for your country." -- I think that's all just big mouthed statement. The two must go hand in hand. I have seen people who have done a lot for this country, but in the end, our beloved country abandoned them.

Just a simple tolerance, just a place where we can sleep safe, just a place where we can see smiles. That's all I wished in return. Not a corrupted country with hypocrite swarming in every corner of the country.

Wake up Indonesia. Grow up Indonesians. Realize that our country need changes. Realize that our country need God.

Okay.. I'm just rant-ing.. But really.. Let's pray harder for or country.

I missed this kind of ceremony though haha... can you find me in the photo? =)

Forewords

There was a time when I lost my desire to write and to share. There was a time when I didn't see the point of doing a blog to express my thought. I am who I am though, inconsistent as I am in doing this blog, but I do want to share and I do long to write. Today I'm giving it another go. Fingers crossed. But I still wish that "Let there be light" is the message that I convey.
